My name is Maegan Wilson, I am the artist behind JM Glass Studio.

As the daughter of a glass artist, I had the opportunity to create with glass at a very early age. My upbringing consisted of a lot of festivals, which felt like an exciting adventure. My Mom encouraged me to create with scrap glass, I was even able to sell my creations at her festivals beginning at approximately 5 years of age. I became passionate about art, and driven to create.

Throughout years prior I worked in several different artistic mediums (beaded jewelry, copper jewelry, mixed media, and Kiln fired glass jewelry), but my love for glass kept bringing me back. I enjoy water, especially the ocean, which is reflective in my work. I am inspired by the colors, and movement I am able to create in the glass.  I am excited each time I get to open the kiln after a firing!

My larger work is displayed in custom built handmade steel frames. I have a couple of lines of Bowls and plates, and spoon rests and trivets. Every item I make is a one of a kind hand-crafted item. Fulfilling a lifelong dream, my family and I relocated to the Florida Coast December of 2020! I look forward to Florida Festivals for years to come!
